Hello, Sorry for the long wait. If you don't mind, I will try my best to give helpful comments and suggestions for your piece.

This looks really interesting and the wolf looks very flame like indeed but it also lookings like it carries some lava elements as well since the tail looks more like molten lava rather than blazing flames and the splotches all over the body resemble rocks. But this is all just interpretive details and even if this wasn't intentional it looks amazing, nonetheless.

It seems you have also used flames around the image to convey the message of fire and it works rather well in depicting that the wolf is trying to burn the image he is in since the flame is going around the border of the drawing. It would be cool to see the drawing burning to ashes as well but that's just me.

The Physical structure of the wolf looks accurate for the most part with a few things that look off. The Face looks fine and it matches the style of the art well. ( gf3.statico.be/wp-content//upl… ) It seems that one of the hindlegs is missing in the back. The lower chest area is a bit droopy but if it's a lava wolf then it's understandable of why it's drooping so low. The drawing style looks like the wolf is part of the ground that appears to be covered in lava / fire which would explain they the lower part of the leg is missing or off. The connection of the head to the body looks okay and the legs looks alright as well. The Pose is well conveyed and it looks like a territorial stance but I'm no expert on Wolf poses and actions. ^ ^'

It looks like you have also used contrast of red / orange with a blue background. The constrast really makes the wolf stand out since it is the focus of this piece ( upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… ) Normally Flame would cause things in the area to have more contrast between darks and lights as well as tint the area with the color of the flame. Flame also tends to disperse and break a bit as shown in the image of the fireplace. But the flames you use are easy to identify and are enough to get your point across. Just some things to think about is all.

I hope my suggestions were helpful in some way. I wonder where this style of yours will take you? Anyways Good luck with all your future artwork.
